I recently had the opportunity to chat with my friend and colleague, Salman. Salman Is known in our team as someone who is very much into their clothing, a snappy dresser and a big fan of multiple genres of music. Celine Sturiale: France, England and preparing for a Marathon
This week I'm back with another Interview! This time with my friend and colleague Celine. Celine and I have worked together for a few years now and we also live in the same town. When I first moved to the town Celine was always on hand to help me discover what the area had to offer. They were also a key factor in my first steps on the road to being healthier with running! I wanted to have a chat with Celine and understand her story, especially how she tackled the London Marathon in 2023!
Off Topic: The Battle With UK Visa Costs
Itโs almost time for my wife and I to renew her Spouse Visa, two and a half years on their current visa have flown by and while we always knew the renewal was coming and have passed the process before with no issue before, we are now, much like a number of couples, faced with a much more expensive application overall that has us trying to raise our savings where we can. We both expected some form of an increase eventually, we are after all in a cost-of-living crisis and all bills seem to be on the up.

Off Topic: The Travels That Made Me: Berlin, Germany
Iโd always fancied going to Germany because itโs so close to the UK and the flight is super short so I thought why not make this the first part of my trip? Itโs funny really, Europe was always so close but save for a school trip to France and one trip to Disneyland Paris I had never really ventured to what was essentially on my doorstep.
Off Topic: The Travels that made me: Prologue
In January 2019 I decided to quit my job, travel the world and move to Australia, it was a massive undertaking for me and something that I feel I was always meant to do in some way.
Interviews with YOU!: Cristina Carion, Design and feeling like you belong
This week I got the chance to ask an old friend of mine a few questions about her life in the UK as well as briefly touch upon her 'home country' of Macau and her experiences in the world of design. Cristina is a reason I caught the bug of wanting to travel after I had the privilege of traveling to Macau with her after high school and in a way, thanks to her and Macau I continued to travel and ultimately ended up working in Australia and meeting my Wife!
